WHAT IS 5S?
Name from the initials of the words Japanese SEIRI, SEITON, SEISO, SEIKETSU, and SHITSUKE; is a workplace organization method. This method is the most important factor that needs to be implemented in order to improve the workplace environment. It is not right to perceive 5S applications only as in-house cleaning activities. It is the most effective method to prevent of losses, increase efficiency and ensure in-plant control.
